Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was left seriously injured following a collision in Somerset.

The incident happened on Tuesday, 5th December at around 7 a.m. on Skinner’s Hill near Camerton.

A Volkswagen van and a Yamaha moped collided at the junction of Northdown Road.

The sixteen-year-old moped driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.

The police like to speak to anyone who might have seen the collision or the vehicles beforehand.
