After visits to the RUH herself, Lilly Hull wanted to help other children attending the hospital, so got a group of friends together to sell baked goods, dog treats, books and odds and ends to raise as much money as they could for the much-needed cause.
The girls made a sign saying ‘raising money for the RUH’ and displayed the goods donated to them on their stall with home-made cakes.
The generosity of the public meant the girls raised £150, thanks to some special visitors, including the Mayor of Midsomer Norton and local police officers.
All of the money raised from the stall with help fund play sessions for poorly children who are staying at the RUH in Bath and bring a bit of positivity to a hard time in their lives.
