Following last week’s story in The Journal, we are pleased to report that the Radstock Devils Scooter Club has raised £1,700 for the RUH’s Intensive Care Unit, to thank them for the care of friend, Les Hickling, who is being treated for Swine Flu, Pneumonia and Septicaemia. Les spent seven weeks in intensive care and is slowly recovering.
Riders gathered last Saturday at Midsomer Norton Social Club for a ride out, rattling their collection buckets on the way, finishing off the day with a fundraising evening, organised by Phil Seymour, back at the club with live music from bands, ‘Junko Dogs’ and ‘Fifty Shades of Punk’.
Phil and everyone at the Radstock Devils and Midsomer Norton Social Club would like to thank all those who supported this great cause.
