The charity supported by Jenny Sell’s family, after her tragic death in Midsomer Norton have made an appearance at Valleyfest 2022.

Jenny Sell was killed not long after attending a festival to help launch the charity BillyChip, also born after a fatal road accident in Thailand, in which Billy Abernethy-Hope was killed.

Billychip, in memory of Billy, is a charity that provides a currency for the homeless, and recently received a large donation from Jenny’s family.

Billy’s family seemed to enjoy the festival, and commented, “WOW…what a weekend! We had so many fabulous people visit our stall and want to know more about what we do and some very generous donations too”’

“The team really did put on a show and we can’t wait to come back next year and meet more of you guys!”

Matthew Shaw, 35, drove his Audi A5 through a red light in Midsomer Norton before colliding head-on with Jenny Sell’s Honda Jazz on a single carriageway bridge on July 31, 2019.

A rose named after her was cultivated - and the company kindly donated the £10,000 cost to Billy’s charity.
