Residents and Staff at Bloomfield Care Home, in Paulton recently enjoyed raising funds for local charity, Time is Precious, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary with Wish Week.

The initiative is aiming to raise £33,000 for specialist equipment for two local boys. Activities Coordinators at Bloomfield set up a raffle within the home, supported by families.

Nikki Culleton, General Manager at Bloomfield Care Home said: I’m very proud of all the staff for their achievements in raising awareness and funds for such a worthy local charity – our residents also enjoyed looking at all the raffle prizes and many also bought tickets.”

Nicky Halford, founder and trustee of Time is Precious, is pictured right receiving a cheque from the Paulton care home. She said: “Zach and Henry, who both live

locally and suffer with cerebral palsy, will benefit greatly from the support given to them at this time, and we’re extremely grateful to the staff, residents and families at Bloomfield. Their donation of £227.77 is gratefully received.”
