This November sees the Cam Valley Arts Trail celebrate its tenth year. To mark the occasion, they launched a competition to create a new blackbird logo.

They were thrilled with the entries: from etchings, glasswork, paintings to digital art and they have found a worthy winner.

Karen, chair of the group said ‘one of our members, Lucy Empson has created a stunning blackbird. Lucy is a calligrapher but there is clearly no end to her creative talents’.

Lucy’s blackbird will be seen on signage for the trail weekend and the new trail brochure which will be available soon.

The Cam Valley Arts Trail is on Saturday 5th and Sunday, 6th November. The trial will be host to over forty local artists across fourteen venues.
