Tabor Independent Methodist Church
AFTER a few weeks of feeling poorly, it was good to see Mrs Margaret West back in action again.
Margaret led the most recent service, with the theme being ‘Jesus’s giving meaning and purpose to life’.
Tabor continues to hold fortnightly services, with the next one at 11am on February 1, when we welcome a return visit from Rev Ian Souter. All are welcome to any of our services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside the church in North Road.

Trinity Methodist Church
MORNING worship held on Sunday, January 18, was led by Mike Honey, his theme being The Light of the World. Scripture readings were taken from the book of Isaiah, entitled ‘The Servant of the Lord, and from John’s Gospel: Jesus the Lamb of God – Jesus’ First Disciples’.
The usual sessions take place during the week.
Saturday coffee from 10am.
Lily’s fruit and veg shop in Radstock will be visiting our bacon butty coffee mornings soon with their fresh produce. Please pop in and enjoy a cuppa while you browse.
Sunday morning worship at 10.30am. All welcome.

Orchardleigh Estate
A historic church set within a 500-acre country estate will be among the wedding venues open to couples at Orchardleigh Estate’s Wedding Fayre this January.
On Sunday, January 25, Orchardleigh Estate will host its wedding fayre, inviting prospective couples to explore both Orchardleigh House and Elmhay Park between 10am and 4pm.
Guests will be welcomed by Orchardleigh’s expert wedding team and given exclusive access to the venues, grounds and accommodation across the estate. The event offers a chance to view the venues fully dressed for a wedding, meet trusted local suppliers and begin planning every detail of the big day.
Orchardleigh is well known for pioneering the multi-day wedding, offering exclusive-use packages that span two, three or even four days.
From the candlelit Island Church and the stately Orchardleigh House, to the romantic Elmhay Park Orangery and walled gardens, the estate offers a wide range of ceremony and celebration settings.
