Family and friends of a young man involved in a serious traffic accident in Westfield last Wednesday have set up a Facebook page to raise awareness of using helmets correctly.
Adam Parfitt, who was on his way to college at the start of a new term, was involved in an accident on his moped last week. Unfortunately, his helmet had not been fastened properly and came off during the accident.
Adam is currently in intensive care at Southmead Hospital battling severe head and body injuries.
