Uh-oh! It would seem that last week’s Mystery Photograph was another slightly controversial one... It states that it was Fosseway, Norton Hill in 1941. Many of you suggested Charlton Road, Midsomer Norton, or the A367 Westfield. We’ll let you decide. No need to ring and tell us we are wrong! Here’s an easier and less problematic one for you all this week!
Thanks to Janet Wilcox, Kay Harvey, Simon Ball, Simon and Norman Chard, Gary Dando, Elaine Bowen and Karen Thayer, who all guessed in the right area, with thanks to Beryl Rhymer for providing the photograph.
This week’s photograph is courtesy of Radstock Museum, who are helping us to keep the feature running alonside all of your wonderful readers’ pictures. Keep them coming!
All visitors to Radstock Museum can sit and browse through over eight hundred old, local photographs on the public access computers. Glossy 7x5 prints of the photos can be bought, subject to copyright. All museum tickets are annual, visit: www.radstockmuseum.co.uk
If you think you can guess this week’s entry, email: [email protected] with your answer, and even a photograph of what the scene looks like today, or send it to us via Facebook: @MNRJournal.
Answer in next week’s Journal.
