A pre-school that has been part of the Paulton community for over forty years is appealing for bark, gravel, patio slabs and compost for its new wild garden.

Noah's Ark Pre-School has recently had a fence removed in the garden, which has opened up the space for the children. There are small tree stumps for the little ones to sit and have stories read to them, a small wildlife pond (with some new tadpoles), bedding plants and vegetables. Last year, the Paulton Pre-School entered South West In Bloom and received a Level 3 'Developing', so there are high hopes for this year's entry!

The pre-school, which currently has around eighty children attending, is a registered charity that benefits from the extra money that is raised by various fundraising initiatives carried out by parents and the committee – the next of which will be a sponsored walk in June and the summer fayre.

Over its forty-year history, many village children have found their start in school easier because of the dedicated efforts of the pre-school team. For details, visit: http://www.noahs-ark-preschool.co.uk/">www.noahs-ark-preschool.co.uk/
