Midsomer Norton-based businessman, Shaun Hughes, will be taking on the famous London Marathon on 23rd April to raise money for the Whizz-Kidz charity.

A keen runner, Shaun has already tackled the Bath Half and Bristol Marathons over the past few years, and has upped his training to take on the 26.2 mile London Marathon next month.

Speaking on his fundraising page, Shaun said: “I’m running the London Marathon to raise money for disabled children and young people who need mobility equipment. The more people that know about Whizz-Kidz, the greater their impact in helping more young, disabled children.”

Whizz-Kidz is a national charity that aims to transform the lives of disabled children, enabling them to have better mobility and independence with essential wheelchairs and other equipment.
