Well done to all of those who guessed correctly the photograph from Bath Record Office which featured in last week’s Journal. We will be publishing a different photo each week (until we run out!) of old photographic postcards uncovered by the Record Office, who found these in a scrapbook compiled by Richard Boodle.
Can you guess this week’s above?
Last week’s photograph was looking out over Paulton. Well done to readers, Jeff Parsons, Bob Rowsell and Robert Broughton, who identified them.
Mr Parsons said: “I believe that this week you are at Paulton, looking towards the printing works (in the far distance) and the detached house to the right might be the old village hospital Ham House. The photo is probably taken from the top of the old batch at Simon’s Hill."
If you know where this week’s photograph may have been taken, you can let us know via our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/MNRJournal or by email: [email protected] – you can even send us your photographs of what that scene may look like today.
Answer to the photograph above in next week’s paper.
