A number of bus services in and around Bath have released new timetables as changes take effect.
The affected services include 171 and the 179, which both have route and timetable changes. The 171 between Bath and Peasedown St John will now operate a one-way circular route around the village, as well as one early morning journey coming off the timetable. The changes are intended to help the service work better with departures of the 172, 173 and 174.
The 179 will continue to link Bath and Writhlington, but will no longer serve Cranmore Place, Greenvale Drive or Farrington Gurney. The service may be picked up at
neighbouring stops to Cranmore Place and Greenvale Drive.
The 267 Frome to Bath service will add an evening journey during the week and on Saturdays, as well as changes to the Sunday and Bank Holiday timetable, to see the service run two hourly buses.
University buses will also see changes to their timetable once the academic year ends. Full details of bus changes can be viewed online at: www.firstgroup.com/bristol-bath-and-west and new timetables will be available at Bath Bus Station.
