Midsomer Norton and Radstock based charity, P.E.O.P.L.E., has been distributing over thirty coats and jumpers this week to help the homeless in Bath city centre stay warm this Christmas.

This is the first year that the charity, which is committed to working with social disadvantage and helping the vulnerable, has collected the coats and jumpers for those in need, hoping to make the ‘Coats for Christmas’ initiative an annual event. With the help of second year Social Work and Applied Social Studies students, Daniel Graham and Cori Johnson, who are completing work placement schemes with the charity, the clothing was distributed on Monday to those sleeping on the streets or in local shelters.
