The Jenny Peplow singers had an interesting start to their practice last Wednesday, by beginning their session with a cheque presentation.
The presentation was made by Pauline Spanswick, who organised an Evening of Song with the singers in Chilcompton on 14th May raising £1,300 for Children’s Hospice South West, and Jenny Peplow, to Diane Chiplin, Chair of the Friends of CHSW in Midsomer Norton.
Mrs Chiplin gave a short talk on how the hospice was started before choir practice got under way.
The Jenny Peplow Singers are a choir of over 50 ladies of varying ages, started by Jenny, a professional singer, back in 2011. For more details on the choir, please contact Jenny on 01373 812093. Their next concert is on Saturday, 4th June at St Joseph’s Nursing Home in Bristol.
