A BABY wallaby has been born at Chew Valley Animal Park, becoming the latest addition to the park’s animal population.

On Wednesday, 30 July, the park announced on its social media pages that Holly the wallaby had given birth. The young joey is currently being carried in its mother’s pouch and is already drawing attention from visitors.

The park, just outside Bishop Sutton, is home to a wide range of animals and often sees new arrivals. Each birth is seen as an important part of the park’s focus on animal care and helping visitors learn more about the species they look after.
