A Christmas Tree Festival is to be held at the Congregational Church, Timsbury from Friday, 8th December until Sunday, 10th December.

It has been organised by Timsbury Christians Together and has been supported and sponsored by local businesses and organisations. The trees are being decorated in accordance with the wishes of the individual sponsors, some by the organisations themselves and some by the organisers.

The festival will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Friday and Saturday and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Sunday. There will also be an Advent Service at the church on the Sunday at 10.30 a.m.

Refreshments will be available throughout the festival and there will be a Christmas stall and tombola. Activities are being set up for children, who will have the chance to vote for their favourite tree, and there is a visit from Father Christmas on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Any profit from the festival will be donated to charity.
