Trinity Methodist Church

Sunday morning worship on September 14 was led by Pat Heynes. The readings told the story of Moses. They also included the Parable of the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin.

The usual sessions will take place during the week. Remember the local Foodbank. Donations can be placed in the basket at the back of the church. The basket is available on Tuesday afternoons, between 2pm and 4pm.

On Saturday we will hold a coffee morning for Macmillan. Doors open at 10am. We will be serving homemade cakes, bacon butties, hot dogs, jams, marmalade and chutneys. This will be our last charity event of the year. Please come along and support us.

On Sunday we will join the congregation at Chew Stoke for morning worship at 10.30am. Our church will be closed.

Tabor Independent Methodist Church, Timsbury

It was good to welcome members of South Road Methodist to Tabor. They joined our service led by Mr Eric Barge. Eric spoke about the start of the Methodist New Year. This coincides with the academic year and the beginning of many new church activities and pastoral assignments. We also remembered the children and young people starting school or university for the first time.

Holy Communion was part of the service. This signified fellowship and communion together.

All are welcome to our church services, held fortnightly. Anyone may also join other events. Details can be found on the noticeboard outside our church in North Road, Timsbury.
