A new challenge is being launched following in the steps of Captain Sir Tom Moore – the Captain Tom 100. His family want individuals to use his inspiration to raise money for charity, and SWALLOW charity is asking people to get involved and raise money to support local teenagers and adults with learning disabilities.
The event starts on what would have been his 101st Birthday on Friday, 30th April 2021 and is based around the number 100. You could walk 100 laps of your garden just like Captain Tom, bake 100 cakes or sing 100 songs. There are no rules (as long as it is in line with current Government guidelines) and it is open to everyone. To get involved, all you need to do is dream up a
challenge based around the number 100, and complete it
between Friday, 30th April and Monday, 3rd May 2021. If you would like to get involved, contact: [email protected] or ring: 01761 414034 and ask for fundraising.
