B&NES Labour Councillors, John Bull and Liz Hardman, are determined to continue to press B&NES Highways for a proper resurfacing of Ham Lane, in Paulton as soon as possible.
Liz Hardman said: “As a result of continuous pressure from ourselves, the worst of the potholes have been temporarily filled. However, new ones are opening up all the time. The whole stretch from Brittens Hill to Winterfield Road needs proper surface treatment as soon as possible to make travel safer and more comfortable for private and public transport.”
John Bull added: “B&NES have promised us that the resurfacing will be done in the school summer holidays and we will be holding them to that. Ham Lane is a bus route and overhanging vegetation also needs clearing back. We will be keeping up the pressure until we get the result Paulton residents are looking for, as we recently achieved with Park Road.”
