Staff at Care South’s Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Home Care Office in Peasedown St. John, near Bath, are celebrating following success at the Company’s annual Stars Awards ceremony on Tuesday, 21st June.
Karen Reid, Manager at Home Care BANES was awarded the ‘Chairman’s Outstanding Individual of the Year’ award.
Felicity Irwin, Chairman at Care South, commented: “I am delighted that I was able to award this year’s accolade to Karen. This is given to an individual who has demonstrated special qualities together with continued performance, whilst meeting the Care South values. A very well earned award.”
Karen Reid, added: “We are delighted that Deborah, Robert and Alison were recognised at the Care South Stars Awards. They are all invaluable members of the home care team and the support and friendship they provide to our service users is immeasurable.
“Personally, I was thrilled and honoured to receive the Individual of the Year award, it was a real surprise to me, but I am absolutely delighted. I love my job and the work that I do with the team here at BANES, so I feel very privileged.”
This year’s Stars Awards marked a special anniversary for Care South, as the company celebrated its 25th anniversary. All members of staff who have achieved 25 years service or more received a special silver heart award, in recognition of their hard work.
