Towards the end of these discussions we were treated to the dramatic entrance of Paul Millard on a Blood Bike motorbike.

Paul volunteers with the National Association of Blood Bikes and he gave a very informative talk of the charity, which does not receive any financial assistance, and relies on volunteers and fundraising.

Across the country there are groups of bikers who give their time to provide a professional, rapid response to support the NHS transporting medical supplies wherever they are needed. We all felt gratitude for the work they do.

Following his talk and the conclusion of the meeting we all enjoyed tea and homemade cakes.

Our annual Garden meeting is in July and for members only. This year it will be held in Marksbury.
