Family History Expert and Chairman of Radstock Museum, Simon Carter, will present an illustrated and informative talk entitled “An Introduction To Family History”, giving you lots of tips on how to research your family tree and get the best results.

Simon says, “The emphasis will be on whether the records still exist, what they tell you and how to find them. A sort of behind the scenes, ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’. I’ll cover the various family history events, typically birth, marriage and death and how you can build and discover the story of your family history.”

The talk will take place on Tuesday 5th September at the Somer Centre at 7:30pm with all funds raised from the admission and raffle going to the Radstock Museum (Charity no.1151573).
