Tasha Dix and her family organised a Fun Day in Temple Cloud to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit Appeal at Bristol Children’s Hospital to thank them for the care given to her nephew, Morgan, after he contracted meningitis.
The Fun Day, held on 23rd July in Temple Cloud has now raised £4,211.64, which the family presented to the Children’s Hospital recently.
Tasha said: “I would like to thank all of our sponsors, the many helpers and all those that supported the event on the day, which helped us to raise the amazing sum of £4,211.64.
“Thank you to Lilley’s Cider Barn for lending us the bar equipment, Tony Fear from A2B Print, for donating all our banners, posters and flyers, Bristol Hog Roast for supplying the food and Shaun Dix (from Ken Biggs) and Michael Scott (from Massey Wilcox) for raising an amazing amount of money for their sponsored waxing.”
