Mells Tithe Barn will open its doors for ‘Christmas in the Country’, a festive market on Saturday, 12th November from 10.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Consisting of over twenty stalls of carefully selected local makers, artisans, jewellers and producers.

‘Christmas in the Country’ offers a festive shopping experience which will highlight the wealth of talented makers on the doorstep and give visitors to this free event a unique chance to choose from a beautiful selection of stalls.

On sale will be leather handbags and tassels in stunning colours, locally harvested lavender products and striking jewellery. You will also find beautiful gifts for the home, including winter floral bulbs in gorgeous vintage china, unusual knitted and crocheted homewares, printed textiles, striking mosaics and fabulous felted vessels and wall art. Contemporary laser cut decorations keep good company with willow wreaths and eye-catching fused glass pieces. Fine hand-painted ceramics and pottery complement seasonal preserves and edible gifts.

There are prices to suit every pocket – stocking fillers to those very special presents that are so hard to find – all under one lovely Tithe Barn roof.

The Community-run Mells Café in the village will also be in the kitchen at The Barn, providing homemade delicious soups, cakes, bacon rolls, hot drinks and of course, mulled wine and mince pies.

Christmas made easy at ‘Christmas in the Country’ where a warm, mulled wine welcome awaits.
