New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Bath and North East Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Mai Thai at 10 Chelsea Road, Newbridge, Bath; rated on August 23

• Rated 4: Baked at Pavilion, Keynsham Memorial Park, Keynsham, Bath And North East Somerset; rated on August 21

• Rated 4: Sally Lunn's Historic Eating House at Sally Lunns, 4 North Parade Passage, City Centre, Bath; rated on August 21

• Rated 3: Joya at 6 Newmarket Row, Grand Parade, City Centre, Bath; rated on August 22

• Rated 3: Soyful's Kitchen at 15 Holly Court, High Street, Midsomer Norton, Bath And North East Somerset; rated on August 22

It means that of Bath and North East Somerset's 374 similar establishments with ratings, 217 (58%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
