New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Aspris Children's Services at Stoneleigh House, Frome; rated on September 20

• Rated 5: Falcon Retail Ltd - Budgens at Commerce Park Service Station, Southgate, Frome; rated on September 20

• Rated 5: Castelli Cafe at 18 Bath Street, Frome; rated on August 1

• Rated 5: Subway at Unit 1, Glastonbury; rated on July 25

• Rated 5: The Bell Inn at Bell Inn, Leigh Street, Leigh On Mendip, Radstock; rated on July 25

• Rated 3: White Hart Inn at The White Hart Hotel, 19-21 Sadler Street, Wells; rated on August 30

• Rated 1: Stony Street House at Kelseys, 8 Stony Street, Frome; rated on May 23
