New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Mendip’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Aurora Kusina Ltd at 29 Town Street, Shepton Mallet; rated on July 6

• Rated 5: The Cafe at Nunney Limited at Castle Street, Nunney, Frome; rated on June 30

• Rated 5: Daniels Sandwich Bar at 5 Queen Street, Wells; rated on June 16

• Rated 5: Guinevere's Gaff at The Assembly Rooms, High Street, Glastonbury; rated on May 27

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Archangel at The Angel Hotel, 1 King Street, Frome; rated on July 14

• Rated 4: Street Inn at 1-3 Somerton Road, Street; rated on May 13
