Peasedown St John Primary School was delighted to receive face visors, with thanks to the Tesco Express store in Weston, Bath.
The visors were donated to the school as part of Tesco’s Community Programme by Charlotte, the Deputy Store Manager.
The visors will enable our specialist subject staff to continue to deliver a broad and rich curriculum, including Music, Art, French and Religious Studies to the pupils, as they will be able to work safely across the different bubbles. The visors will also be used by other staff to provide one-to-one support for pupils requiring additional help, both with their learning and for their mental wellbeing.
Charlotte, a former pupil at the school, said: “When I heard that Peasedown St John Primary School could use the visors, I was pleased to be able to donate them from unused PPE which we could no longer use due to Government guidance.
“I was a pupil at Peasedown St John School myself and was really glad that these visors could be used by the staff to make it possible for them to work with more children during these difficult times.”
