New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Bath and North East Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Boom Battle Bar Bath, at Unit 2, Kingsmead Leisure Complex, 5 - 10 James Street West, City Centre was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 10.

And The Bridge Coffee Shop, at 17 Pulteney Bridge, City Centre, Bath was given a score of two on December 10.

It means that of Bath and North East Somerset's 405 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 243 (60%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
