Two families, who have been fundraising for the past three years to thank Bristol Children’s Hospital for saving thirteen-month-old Morgan from meningitis, have announced that they have smashed their target of £10,000 for the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal.

Through organising the Temple Cloud Charity Fun Day, they have raised a massive £12,555.37.

One of the organisers, Tasha Dix, says: “We are incredibly proud, and we wouldn’t have been able to do this without the support of our sponsors, stall holders, helpers and most importantly, the public. We would like to say a BIG thank you to our sponsors, Western Power, R.A. Fibreglass, Young’s Roofing, P. Gunstone mechanicals, Ken Biggs and A2B Printing.”
