‘Superstar daughter’ Poppy who is 9, has decided to donate her hair to raise money for The Little Princess Trust.

Proud mum, Lizzie Stone, said: “They use the hair to make wigs for ill children, but also rely on funds to help pay towards the making of the wigs and of course, getting them to and fitting them on the children.

“With this in mind and understanding what a horrific year the world has had in 2020, she wanted to finish it on a positive note and one that helped others.

“So she asked if she could donte her hair and ask for donations. Since launching her GoFundMe page this afternoon she has raised nearly £200 and is absolutely thrilled! I am so proud of her.”

This is the second time she has donated her hair but first time she chose to fundraise for them along side. She has definitely now got ‘the bug’ and looks forward to inspiring other children to help others and intends to fundraise again in the year! In total she has now raised £460 for The Little Princess Trust.
