PEASEDOWN Methodist Church is marking the festive season with a busy schedule of community events and services throughout December.
Recent activities have included the monthly Friday Lunch Club Christmas meal, a well-attended Christmas Fair, and a Messy Breakfast Church session, with the most recent one happening on December 12.
On Tuesday, December 16 the church will hold a Festival of Light, offering residents a quiet space to light a candle in memory of a loved one. The building will be open for prayer at intervals throughout the day.
Services later in the month include a family carol service with a children’s nativity on Sunday, December 21 followed by Carols by Candlelight. Christmas Eve will feature a Crib Service and Midnight Communion, with all-age worship on Christmas Day.
