On Sunday, 21st November there will be a conducted walk with the Somersetshire Coal Canal Society.

Led by Derrick Hunt, we will be exploring the route of the canal from Midford to Monkton Combe. Meet at 10 am at Twinhoe Lane, Midford, map ref ST761605.

On the following Thursday, 25th November, there will be a talk by our archivist, Roger Halse, at Radstock Working Men’s Club, commencing at 7.30pm, entitled ‘The Canals, Railways and Collieries of Camerton and Dunkerton’.
