Hope House Surgery in Radstock has moved forward with its plans for new premises, having submitted a bid to the NHS England Fund for a brand new community hub, providing modern facilities in the centre of the town – although the new/proposed location is yet to be revealed.
A spokesperson for Hope House, told The Journal: “We are delighted to announce that our recent bid to NHS England for the Estates and Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF) to support the development of a new surgery in Radstock is being supported, subject to passing a set of due diligence checks.
“Our intention is to develop a modern, purpose built community hub in the centre of Radstock to enable us to continue to provide the same high standard of care and treatment to the local community as it grows and flourishes in an environment that promotes both health and social wellbeing.”
The surgery announced its intention to move in February this year and has assured patients that it is also carefully considering parking and access issues.
