Hope House Surgery in Radstock is looking to move to new premises. Representatives from the surgery have said that they are hoping to provide modern facilities for their patients and to remain in Radstock Town Centre.

Speaking to The Journal, Stephanie Coombs, Deputy Practice Manager, said: “Hope House Surgery is looking to move to new, purpose-built premises, so we can continue to provide the same high standard of care and treatment to the local community as it grows and flourishes.

“Radstock is currently undergoing significant regeneration, which is anticipated to lead to population growth. We need to plan for this increase to ensure we remain able to meet the health needs of the local community. Our current building is already utilised to its maximum potential, with no scope for extension.

“We are now in discussions with NHS England and Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group about new premises for the surgery. Our intention is to provide modern facilities, whilst remaining situated in Radstock town centre. We appreciate that the current parking situation has been difficult for many and would like to reassure patients that we are considering parking and access as part of any potential new development.

“We would like to thank residents for their continued support and will keep them informed of progress and how they can get involved in future building plans. We are excited by the positive changes being made in Radstock and want to be able to continue to provide the community with a high standard of care in the future.”
