POLICE are appealing for the public’s help to identify a man in connection with a racially aggravated assault in Bath.

Officers are investigating an incident which took place shortly after midday on Saturday, September 27, in Kingsmead car park.

The victim was assaulted by an unknown man and subjected to racial abuse. He did not require hospital treatment for his injuries.

Police believe the man pictured may have information which could assist the investigation. He is described as white, around 5ft 11ins tall, of average build, and was wearing a baseball cap and a padded coat at the time.
