People in Keynsham are being invited to have their say on Kelston Road Park (Queens Road).

As part of an ongoing plan to improve parks and green spaces across the district, Bath & North East Somerset Council wants to better understand how Kelston Road Park is used, and hear views on how it could be improved for people and wildlife.

The Council wants this to be the start of a long-term programme of improvements for the park, and to kick-start the process it has for £74,000 worth of Section 106 developer contributions to spend on improvements on the ground.

Anyone with an interest in the park is invited to take part in a consultation, which is open until Sunday, 30th September. The consultation survey can be completed online at: www.bathnes.gov.uk/kelstonroadpark or a printed version can be requested by calling the Parks Department on: 01225 394041.

Consultation findings will be published by the end of November, and an initial design will be available for comment. Subject to approval it is expected that improvements will be carried out in early spring 2019.
