Less than three in five A&E arrivals at Royal United Hospitals Bath seen within four hoursAs part of their work at the University of Bath’s School of Management, the students have to come up with fundraising ideas, set it up on Local Giving and then market their event, hopefully raising significant funds for their chosen charities. Local Giving then match the first £250 raised.
A group of students met Nicky Tew and Jess Robinson, from SWALLOW, at their
community café in Radstock, where donations will be used to refurbish an outside courtyard area to allow room for planters, so that members can grow their own fruit and vegetables to be used in the café.
Several events are being planned to help raise funds for both SWALLOW and PEOPLE, including bake sales, Easter activities and film screenings at the university. For details, visit: https://localgiving.org/
