Local footballer, Jamie Mines, who has been in hospital since a work accident saw him lose both his forearms and his right leg, has been discharged.

He suffered horrific electrocution injuries whilst at work as a scaffolder, just before Christmas, which sparked a fundraising campaign to help support him and his young

family, which now stands at over £140,000.

A friendly match between Frome Town and Yeovil Town is due to take place in July, to continue raising money for his rehabilitation. Jamie is now having intensive physiotherapy in Oxford three times a week and was originally cared for at the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
