Bath’s Jane Austen Centre is to be presented with the fifth and final £5 note engraved with the author’s face, marking the 200th anniversary of her death.
Five of the new style £5 notes are said to have been engraved with Jane Austen’s face – four of them were in general circulation and are said to be worth around £20,000.
The note is to be framed and presented to the Centre in July.
