A cheque comprising of money raised by Paulton Rovers’ supporters was presented to Dorothy House Hospice by the Jeff Mountjoy’s Big Ride Out team just before Christmas.
The donations came from Paulton Rovers’ rearranged match against Salisbury on 20th December, with entry fees being swapped for donations in memory of Paultonian, Jeff
Mountjoy. Des Loader, friend of Jeff and one of the JMBRO team, said: “The total raised was a fantastic £553. We would like to say a big thank you to Paulton Rovers Football Club and the supporters of both sides for their donations.
“Our next big fundraiser will be The Big Ride Out on Saturday, 6th May 2017. So far, I believe we have raised somewhere in excess of £18,000 for Dorothy House and the Blood Bikes.”
