This year’s High Littleton & Hallatrow Village Day is on 24th August.

We will be at The Rec, High Littleton, from 12 noon until 5 p.m. and admission is free. It all starts with a fancy dress and banner parade through the ground based on this year’s theme of ‘Fairytales’ and there are prizes for the best ones.

The Bath Spa Band will be playing in the main arena, followed by Scruff’s Dog Show. Afterwards, you can try the Dog Scurry. We also have displays by Avon Dance Academy and Somerset Morris. During the afternoon, there will be a Produce Show, coconut shy, skittle alley, Bouncy Castle, Teacup Ride, sand and play area, craft stalls, car boot sale and a raffle.

The refreshments include a tea tent, the Scouts’ Burger Van, an ice-cream van and a bar tent.

Our village Yarnbombers installed twenty knitted fairy tale displays around the two villages on the 10th August. as part of a children’s competition, with the winner being announced on the day. Why not come along to see us and have an enjoyable afternoon? See advert on The Journal’s Shall We Go Out pages for more details.
