A one way system is to be trialled through the centre of Keynsham at the reported cost of £200,000.
The trial will see the High Street widened for pedestrians and cyclists, with one lane closed. This is part of a set of plans to develop a new travel network, which aims to
reduce the impact of traffic. If the scheme is a success, then a future permanent scheme would be considered, with current estimates putting the costing around £2 million.
The designs are to be finalised at the end of the year.
