Over the Christmas period, the Old Station Inn at Hallatrow held a raffle in aid of Dorothy House, the Winsley cancer hospice. In order to ensure that it was more successful, Kian King took it upon himself to persuade many customers to participate. In so doing, he took the total raised to over £250!
Kian is pictured outside the Hospice on Friday, 4th January after presenting Emily Knight (Dorothy House Fundraiser) with a cheque, with his mother, (Debbie King and landlady of the Old Station), his sister, Kadie, and Janet Randall (a day patient at the hospice).
The party expressed their gratitude to the staff at Dorothy House for their time and patience in showing them around the magnificent facilities.
