Trinity Methodist Church

It was lovely to welcome back Rev Martin Slocombe to lead Sunday morning worship, the theme being ‘Water'. Scripture readings were taken from Exodus and John's Gospel entitled ‘Jesus talks with a Samaritan Woman’. Following the service, we all enjoyed a good chat and catch-up over a buffet lunch.

Friday club from 2pm to 4pm, Peter will be visiting to speak about plants and gardens. Hopefully he will have lots of handy tips! Refreshments will be available and all are welcome.

Saturday coffee from 10am will be a bacon butty and burger morning. Lilly will also be dropping in with her fresh fruit and vegetables.

Sunday morning worship at 10.30am will be led by Rev David Winstanley.

Tabor Independent Methodist Church

Tabor members recently held a meeting where they discussed future Services and special events such as the Church anniversary in April, which The Tabor Ringers have been invited to take part.

Another date to look out for is a return visit of The Paulton Concert Band in May. All members enjoyed a Faith Tea following the meeting.

The next service is at 11am on March 15, Mothering Sunday, when Mrs Margaret West will be in the pulpit.

All are welcome to any of our Services or events, details of which are on the noticeboard outside of the Church in North Road Timsbury.
