The Chair of community group, the Norton Radstock Ladies Circle, Sarah Slade and her team are busy preparing for a Halloween Masquerade Ball to be held at the Hilton Hotel, in Bath, which takes place on Saturday, 29th October.

Having lost her grandmother to dementia and having seen first hand the impact of Alzheimer’s disease, Sarah felt she wanted to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, so others could be involved and support people living with dementia.

As well as the Halloween Masquerade Ball, Sarah is holding a raffle with some fantastic prizes, including Dyson Vacuum Cleaners, a Mulberry Handbag and a voucher for a Barbour jacket. There will be a live auction on the night for an amazing canvas painting donated by the Alzheimer’s Society and a three course meal and entertainment provided by local band, The DeciBelles.

Sarah said: “I’ve never organised anything on this scale for such a good cause, but being Chair of Norton Radstock Ladies Circle has given me the opportunity to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, which is a great charity. I’m hoping that everyone will have a fantastic evening and enjoy some delicious food. The DeciBelles are awesome and we are looking forward to some excellent entertainment and dancing whilst raising as much money as possible for a great charity.”
