Paulton’s Library Volunteers were in festive mood this week as they celebrated their annual gathering with their lead organising volunteer, Kathleen Still.

Kathleen is a remarkable lady; not only does she organise the weekly library volunteer rota, but she also leads a Baby Bounce Sing Along session in the Hub Library.

B&NES Councillor, Liz Hardman, who organised the annual gathering, said: “We owe so much to our volunteers here in The Hub Library. Without them, we would not be able to open five and a half days a week.

“Thanks also to Kathleen, who does a magnificent job organising the rota and to Zoe from Café Bombero, who provided the buffet.

“I would like to add that my fellow ward Councillor John Bull and myself will do all we can to ensure Paulton keeps its library.”
