Members of the Radstock and Midsomer Norton Lions Club have presented a cheque for £250 to a local resident to help buy a new wheelchair.
Susan Burden, of Radstock, developed polio when she was five-years-old. She has been in an electric wheelchair for the past ten years, and now needs a new one with many
modifications.
Radstock and Midsomer Norton Lions have given Miss Burden a generous donation for her new chair, but she will still need a bit more to reach her target. If anyone can help, please get in touch with the Lions or The Journal.
