Lion President, Rob Jamieson, together with Lion, Derek Livsey, of the Radstock and Midsomer Norton Lions Club, recently made a visit to the Lions club of Chateau-Gontier to be with them as they clelebrated theit 50th Charter and thirty years of twinning.

It was attended by 500 people, who after the meal and speeches, were entertained by a fashion show, singers, musicans and actors.
The following day, discussions between the two clubs agreed to continue with the joint projects. Lion Rob then presented there President, Alain Sabin, with an engraved glass plaque to celebrate 5fifty years as a Lions Club and thirty years of twinning.
The visit was very enjoyable, and we were well looked after by the Lions of Chateau-Gontier.
